Tiling Work

The bathrooms are one step closer to being done on first floor. This week workers have been installing the tiling (pictured above), and soon the fixtures will be going in. This week some of the offices were moved to the Mead Cultural Education Center. If you have any questions, contact us at 82 Mickelson Drive or call us at 605-665-3898. There are still a few tickets available for the Haunted History Tours – be sure to get yours before they are all booked. Now is a great time to get your membership to the Yankton County Historical Society. We have options for students, individuals, couples, families, and businesses. There are wonderful benefits to joining, including free admission to the museum for an entire year! There is something for everyone. Dec. 10-14 we will be offering a members-only look at the Childrens Transportation Museum and the new exhibits, as well as a look at what is still to come. On Saturday, Dec. 15, we will have our Grand Re-Opening Celebration with a ribbon cutting in the morning, then our Vintage Christmas event in the afternoon. Check us out at www.dakotaterritorialmuseum.org, wwww.meadbuilding.org, on Facebook/Dakota Territorial Museum, or call 605-665-3898.
